Description

.400 LEGEND: When the wonderful .350 Legend came out one thing our ballistic team discussed is the lack of bullet “diameter” and “bullet weight” on bigger Game animals such as large Elk, Moose or big Bears. The .350 Legend is fully capable, but a slightly larger bullet diameter and weight and sectional density would be preferred for these larger species. The .450 Bushmaster nicely fills this role; however, some shooters cannot or don does not want to handle the extra recoil. Not to mention the .450’s excessive meat damage on smaller animals such as Whitetail Does for example. This is the perfect cartridge for all big Game species at moderate ranges. We tried to pair this great new cartridge with the best powder blends and bullets possible, creating a memorable shooting – hunting experience.
