Description

“.440 (NWE) – Northwest Express” – This cartridge was created (wildcatted) by our founder over two decades ago. We have made many custom revolvers chambered in this wonderful cartridge. Many Ruger’s, Taurus’s, Dan Wesson’s and TC’s can be converted to this cartridge. This cartridge is a .445 Super Magnum case cut to 1.440 Length. This gives the shooter 85 to 90% of the .445 Super Magnum power in a normal 44 magnum platform. This conversion still allows the shooter to fire 44 Rem Mags and 44 S&W Specials from the same platform. we have done so many of these conversions over the years, we had to add this cartridge to the Orange Label lineup.
